Change your perspective.

I always tell people to change their perspective of things when life does not seem to be going how they want, or how they planned. After all, life is all about perspective. Our perspective of something may be completely different than someone else's and that difference makes a world of a difference. That difference of perspective can detail whether something is right or wrong, good or evil, just or injust. So why would anyone want to change their perspective? There's a few reasons but let's touch on one.

We move through life often saying that we HAVE to do things. Granted we do some things, most things, because we WANT to. We have a desire to do certain things or get certain things but what if we could change perspective on the HAVES and WANTS. What if I told you that neither of those are right, and they are both a singular entity? That can be the case, if you change your perspective.
Instead of thinking about what you HAVE to do, or WANT to do, or even NEED to do I want you to approach things differently. Instead, think of what you GET TO DO. We spend so much time obsessing over the opportunities that we have missed that we sometimes neglect the opportunities in front of us, that we have access to now. We spend so much time dwelling on things we feel we HAVE to do that it can create a negative energy without us intending to. But what if you viewed everything as opportunity. What if everything became what you GET to do?

We sometimes forget that the things we feel are mundane, dreary, or not exciting are the exact opposite for others. We even forget to think about the fact that we have been given the opportunity to even do these things versus people, animals, or insects that have no options at all. We have been given the blessing of choice. We have choices in life, and even when we feel we do not we still do. Even when we have things that must get done we have been given the opportunity to do those things versus those that do not have that option or opportunity. But it is all dependent on perspective.

How we perceive things will further encapsulate our options in life. If you perceive things as an opportunity that you get to take advantage of, even when it does not appear to be in your best interest, then more of those opportunities will appear. Why? Because you are inherently deciding to create everything into an opportunity so you are creating better odds for things to come along that will appear to benefit you. But if you perceive things as burdens, or chores, then the odds are not in your favor. They will always work against you. Why? Because you have created an environment of against will actions. More of those actions will arise and the more you will feel they are against your will.

The amazing thing about all of this, is that it is all based on perspective. It is entirely your choice on how you choose to perceive things. You can perceive this entire article as fodder, and continue to do what you were doing. Choices are amazing when you realize how many you have. And things are even more amazing when you realize everything you get to do.
